Are you a friendly individual, enjoy helping people? This is a fantastic opportunity for volunteers as you will be playing a crucial role within the Community. You will often be the first point of contact for many members of the public, either through telephone contact or via the reception desk. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.
We are looking for volunteers to support the Community Centre Co-ordinator and Centre Manager in a range of admin roles including opening and closing of the Community Centre, monitoring of event activities (parties, productions) filing, archiving, inputting finance data, stationary ordering, fundraising and sourcing for bid and tender opportunities, reception and telephone cover, and other general administrative duties.
You could also get involved with our outreach work, promoting our services to the local community by distributing leaflets and posters and meeting with other local organisations.
We are flexible about days/times, we would like our volunteers to commit to volunteering between the hours of 8am and 2pm and 2pm to 10pm we would ideally like someone for 4 to 5 days per week, including weekends.
