Alpha Grove Community Centre is an umbrella body and landlord to a number of independent voluntary organisations on the Isle of Dogs. The Centre is located in the Old Methodist Church building in Alpha Grove, Isle of Dogs. On 21 August 1980, Methodist Church trustees donated the building to Alpha Grove Community Trust for the benefit of the community.
As a result Alpha Grove Community Centre was established, as a multi purpose centre which offers social and recreational services to local people in Isle of Dogs area of London Borough of Tower Hamlets. A board of Trustees comprises of people from the local business community and residents of Isle of Dogs who meet every month to monitor the operations, finances, human resource and overall strategic direction of the centre.

Centre for Rosy Care
A day care centre, that provides high quality, culturally sensitive, day opportunities for adults with learning & physical disabilities and for those with sensory impairments. Whilst concentrating on promoting good health, social inclusion, choice and satisfying the needs of their users and carers/parents, we also aim to ensure that service users are felt valued. The whole point of jumping on a trampoline is to have fun! There’s oodles of scientific research on the benefits, but most notably NASA calls it “the most efficient and effective exercise yet devised by man” due to the extra gravitational force that the trampoline pad adds. But that was back in the 80’s… wait till you see what we’ve done to the workout now!
