Ugo works for Trust for London as a Grants Manager. He joined the Trust in August 2020, previously he was Programme Director at The Fore Trust, where he was responsible for managing the grants making activity of the Trust to enable UK-based small charities and social enterprises to unlock sustainability, efficiency, scale, and impact by providing unrestricted funds. Before this, he spent six years working at The Social Investment Business (SIB) where he worked across several teams – Investment, Grants, and Business Development.

 

Ugo is really passionate about social justice and empowering small communities. He has extensive knowledge and experience in designing programmes and funds that address a range of social issues.

As well as being the current Chair of The Alpha Grove, he is also an advisor to Coalition for Efficiency (CfE), and a non-executive director of Do IT NOW NOW (DINN). He has also been elected to the board of London Funders and was previously Co-Chair for London+Acumen a volunteer-led chapter of Acumen, a non-profit global venture fund.
