Staff & Volunteers
Kian was introduced by Tower Projects, The Tower Project is a community based voluntary sector organisation and award-winning leading service provider for children and adults with learning disabilities, sensory disabilities, autism, physical disabilities or health-related issues. The key aims of the Tower Project are to enable and empower people with disabilities to develop opportunities, become independent, participate fully in education, employment and have a voice in the community. They decided to set up a short work trial to see if they could extend the position into a part-time paid position. As part of the work trial Kian was supported by a Tower Project Job Coach who assisted him with his tasks and set up a schedule of work for him to complete independently. Following the successful trial period, Alpha Grove took Kian on permanently demonstrating our commitment to be a centre that promotes inclusivity, diversity and equal opportunities for all.
