Alpha Grove community centre provide the opportunity for people of all ages, background, culture and ethnicity within the community to meet together for group activities, social support, and getting people involved in a wide range of learning and physical activities for their own benefit and that of the local community.

The centre promotes social inclusion for people with difficulties and disabilities and constitutes a meeting place for voluntary organisations or other groups in the community in need of accommodation. The centre as a charity supports children and young people, elderly and old people, people with disabilities, people of a particular ethnic or racial group and the general Isle of Dogs community.
