Shirazul's connection to the Centre commenced when he first attended the Centre’s youth club as a teenager. He has more than 7 years’ experience working in the public sector across Local Authorities and the NHS. Shirazul is currently a Volunteer Coordinator for the Local Borough of Tower Hamlets – a role set up in response to the pandemic. Shirazul arranges support (via local volunteers and officers) for the shielding communities in areas where there may be a gap of service that are not provided by public bodies.
