Yasmin Shariff is an award-winning architect and eco-warrior. She is the director of Dennis Sharp Architects, DSA, a practice that has a policy of working with and supporting diverse communities. DSA has designed several innovative low-energy buildings including Strawdance, a strawbale dance studio and cork house. The focus of the practice is to reuse existing buildings and transform them holistically. DSA have recently completed the transformation of a Grade 2 Listed Building where the energy bill was reduced from £1,000per week to less than £25.
